![]() ![]() High Voltage and Maglinant Force - These two mods combine will make Corrosive damage and as an added bonus, gives +120% status chance (who doesn't like better status chance). When your Ignis (main source of damage after your Fireballs starts drop off in damage) runs out of ammo, you will soon find yourself on the ground and in need of a revive. You will burn through 100's of ammo since it eats 10 ammo per second (Fire Rate 10.0). Rifle Ammo Mutation - This mod is absolutely needed since the Ignis eats ammo. Heavy Caliber, Serration, Split Chamber) but I will go into details on why I chose certain non-essential mods over others. I am not going to explain the obvious mods (ie. My Ignis build for those of you who are curious about it (5 forma and a potato). She is great with any heat weapons generally so it doesn't matter what you use as long as you have Heat on your weapons. I personally use Ignis but you may feel the need to use other Heat based weapons with her. And I personally feel that she needs some speed since she is a Glass Cannon type of frame.īefore I go any further, I feel that I need to address the need for a heat based weapon when playing Ember as it benefits greatly from her Accelerant. Rush (6 points, Maxed, in Polarity Slot) - What is better than a Flaming Chicken of Death? A Speedy Flaming Chicken of Death. Vigor (11 points, Maxed) - Even more shields and some health. Always a good thing to have for such a squishy frame Redirection (7 points, Maxed, in Polarity Slot) - More shields as a safety net. Your Accelerant will increase all Heat based damage by 505% with these two mods. So, your Fireball will deal 808 damage without Accelerant and 4,888.4 damage with Accelerant. Combine it with Blind Rage above, will give you +102% power strength. Intensify (11 points, Maxed) - This mod gives you +30% power strength. Makes Fireball costs 12.5 energy and Accelerant cost 25 energy (kinda like a real ultimate ie. Coupled this with the Efficiency Engine mods will give you +50% power efficiency. Pro tip : Hit those Death Orbs in tower games for an instant refill of energy if you are using a Prime Warframe.īlind Rage (7 points, Rank 7, in Polarity slot) - This will give you +72% power strength and -40% efficiency. If you are feeling especially brave, you can replace Flow with Natural Talent for added Fireball spamability. The thing about Ember is that she go down very quickily if she is caught in the middle of a nasty mob without at least 25 energy in her reserves. Streamline (9 points, Maxed) - See Fleeting Expertise above.įlow (9 points, Maxed) - Keeps the energy high for long survival games. Duration is not really needed in this build as everything will usually die before your Accelerant expires. ![]() Gunner Flambo, anyone?įleeting Expertise (6 points, Maxed, in Polarity Slot) - You will need maxed efficiency with Blind Rage thrown in. Throw an Accelerant, and then, flame them with your Ignis (build on Ignis below) or Fireball. And do you know what happens if someone is coated with that stuff? Yeah, they burn even brighter (ie. Accelerant stuns mobs and coats them with 'Accelerant'. Not World on Fire (and running around like a headless chicken). This is the REAL reason why people play Ember. Unleash a fireball whenever you stop to reload your weapon.Īccelerant (4 points, Maxed, in Polarity Slot) - Her numero uno skill, her real ultimate, the coup de grace. This skill can be used even while reloading as it does not break the reloading animation. ![]() ![]() Can deal obscene amounts of damage with the right setup. Here is a breakdown of the mods I use on her.Ĭorrosive Projection (Maxed, +14 points) - This is absolutely needed for Ember due to Heat based damage drops off in damage very quickily.įireball (2 points, Maxed, in Polarity Slot) - Her second best skill due to the 100% Heat proc and its synergy with the second skill in the build. For a Glass Cannon type of frame, this will result in untimely deaths if she is not piloted well at T3 or T4 games.įor reference, this is my Ember Prime build (Potato-ed and 3 forma). The biggest problem with Ember and her Prime counterpart is that most of her skills are mid to close range. You will love playing her if you are a pyromaniac (love playing with matches = heart Ember). She is deadly when built and modded correctly but is kinda squishy due to her low armor rating. You can find the Mag / Mag Prime playing guide hereĮmber is a Heat damage based warframe. This is the second in the Playing Guide series. ![]()
